HA! I got the oil out without taking the nut off. My car probably hates me now though. I just unscrewed the oil filter and turned the car on. Makes a mess because oil sprays everywhere, but I got the **** out of the car. Filled it up with mobile one and yeah.
This is THEE dumbest bastard ever!

steel drain plug in an aluminum pan. what was someone thinking? (i suppose a stainless steel plug would be workable but i imagine is just plain mild steel).
EDIT: welcome to all the new members.
I just approved 88 new ones TODAY only.
Excellent membership drive. :D
This is from the SRTForums.com admin, Castrol. I don't know if I would be proud of using that as a membership driver. This spread to the rest of the internet like wildfire because the kid is a MORON... and he makes Neon owners all look like morons. I'd be embarassed to see that **** here, and if something like that ever happened and we had members coming from other sites just to see the stupidity I'd delete it in a heartbeat.
But alas, if they had brains they wouldn't be driving Neons...
