  • Non t/a hatch T/a's

I know this has been brought up before but lately ive been seeing alot of these. Is alot of owners switching to the firebird spoiler? Ive seen prob 4 different ones in the last 2 weeks all early 4th gens. everything is T/A except the hatch. For awhile all i saw was a white one off and on but now ther is a red, teal and black ones ive been seeing too. I know the made a few without the t/a hatch but the amount im seeing is weird

Tremendous weight savings. Like 40lbs or so, as I've heard, on the spoiler.

                    93-95

The T/A with the "Uplevel Spoiler" was the T/A GT. Then GM dropped the GT badge and made the "Uplevel Spoiler" standard.

yep.. weight difference. that and some people like that look of it.

                      to me, i'd overpower that 40 lbs. with a 50 shot. ;)

                      I love the TA wing.

I think the "standard" spoiler flows with the car a little better. But there is ONE major down fall...it holds water like a son-of-a-*****!
