prolly 180k not 80 k b/c those only have 5 digits right 100001 shows 00001 might be wrong but ehh just be leary of that 80k on a 20k car is doubtful!

Good mileage! 80K isn't bad for a car thats two decades old. Looks good in the picture.
Maybe just do a little research about the owner.. See if its been raced or ran hard on the street. It does have the cowl hood, performance muffler and the wheels, so you never know.
You said its for your little brother? Maybe check the insurance out on it. When I was 16 my insurance was too high for me to afford f-body with a V8, but since that car is as old as it is insurance might not be too bad.
If everything checks out ok I'd say $3500 is a nice average price. I'm in the market for a nice 3rd gen camaro. I would seriously check that car out if it were in my area.

for 3500 you could find a 70ish k mile 3.4 or 3.8 that would be in pretty good condition.

First thing to check is the motor. Is it stock or was it swapped? If you can see it in person, check all fluids, ask for service records, look for leaks under the car and around the motor. Take it for a drive... ask the guy if you can have someone put it on a lift to check it out. It's a pretty nice-looking car otherwise. Looks like they took decent care of it on the outside.. but the inside is what counts.

doesnt seem like that good of a deal... $3500 for a 20 year old car?? that just doesnt seem good considering it probably does have 180,xxx miles on it like someone else said.... you could do a lot better for your bro and come out a lot cheaper too... but its ur choice... do what ya do...

hmmm thanks for the input guys. its hard finding a good 3.8 for under 5 here.
