Jen broke up with me today...

19 months down the drain. August 29th, 2004 to April 9th, 2006. :(

:( Said she isn't ready for a serious relationship right now. She said she wants to go back to being "very very very good friends" like we were before I asked her out. Basically, she wants me as her boyfriend, with no strings attached. She is leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon, I asked if she could call and tell me good bye and she said "maybe". Real nice, huh? She broke up with me over IM, and then called me and I heard it some more. :rant: I agreed to be friends for now, and she said we maybe can "work toward being us again" Oh get this, she also threw in the classic line "Its not you, its me" She says I control her to much. I don't see asking her where shes going and who shes going with to be controlling? I ask her when she thinks she will be home, and I'm controlling her. I find it quite ironic how whenever I go out somewhere without her, she asks me those same questions. She said she still loves me, and always will. I know shes not going to call me while shes in Vegas for the week, and I asked her about texting me and she said "I don't know if I can" It's bull****, I'm pissed, crushed, and devastated all at the same time. I told her I can fix everything if she just let me. "No" seemed to be her favorite reply. I just got back from a long drive to try and clear my head, didn't really work like it usually does. ****! I just want to scream. Alright, well I just wanted to tell someone, anyone. Hopefully we can work on this when she gets back from Vegas. It would be nice if she called me tomorrow before she leaves, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If anyone has any tips or advice, feel free to reply. If your going to leave a jackass reply, go ahead and GTFO.

however i think this needs a trip to the track and do huge *** burn out and forget about everything for those few seconds going down the track,


she can't say "no" anymore

so make the car faster or do another hobby you enjoy :stp:

I found it pretty wierd that the day before she goes to Vegas she breaks up with me. We had a stupid arguement the night before, but it wasn't that serious. Just petty stuff. Using it for an excuse maybe? I dont know. But yea, drove for about an hour and a half, just playing some music and enjoying the road and stuff. Usually works great, not this time though. About the making the car faster, going to the bank tomorrow, putting nearly all my cash in the paypal. 3.73s and LSD will be on their way tomorrow night, then who knows what else. Headers maybe, who knows.

That's rough man. Sorry to hear that. Not trying to be a d1ck, but it sounds like she wants to party hard in Vegas without any guilt. If she wanted to be really, really, really good friends like you were before then should would definately call you before she left...thats what really, really, really good friends do. Its a cop-out.

Yea..it really sucks. Her view of being friends is much different then my view of being friends. Like I said, she wants to be my girlfriend without the "title, and the commitment". When she says friends, I think of me being just like any of the other guys she is friends with. But, she claims I mean more to her then those. I dunno, whatever. She said the week away might be good for us. Who knows. ****, I may be over her *** by Sunday when she is supposed to get back. Come crawling back to me and find that I've moved on. I doubt that though, she is and was my everything.

I wish I could bring myself to tell her to go to hell sometimes, but I'm a pussy and I cant. :rant: I did tell her to **** OFF one time, long long ago. That was a mistake.

I said that she should just let me fix it, and get rid of the stuff she doesnt like. I am a controlling person, and I do need to chill. May be to late though. She said that if I really loved her, I need to prove it to her by being her best friend for awhile and showing her that I can change my controlling ways. Get this, she tried to turn the **** back around on me and make it so that if I said no to the friends, it would be my fault why this relationship went no further. She said "Justin, if you are not willing to be my friend then you really do not love me and you will be the reason this fails." She did give me her word that we would "stay loyal to eachother". I actually thought that this girl and I could actually be something. The way I feel about Jenny is unlike anything I have ever felt for another girl. As much as I just want to move on, and say **** this, the other half of me dearly wants to make this all right. Hopefully she doesnt do anything stupid in Vegas to ruin us any further.

Very true. I have learned so much from her, and I am sure she has learned a lot from me also. We were so close, talked for hours just talking about anything. Some people I find it hard to keep a conversation going with for a long period of time, but not with Jenny. The conversation just flows and flows, forever. I really think we are in love. I of course cannot speak for her, especially not know, but I know I am in love. The way she makes me feel when she is not pulling this **** cannot be described. It is like bliss. And as far as I know, she loved me. Maybe it will work out, I hope so.:(

it kinda sounds like shes trying to keep you "friends" while she trys "other things" , and if those dont work out she can fall back on you...... so your like a 3rd leg the hole time.......

i told her NO!

its all or nothing!!, i tried the friends thing for about 2 weeks and it was harder to move on then not having anything....... fark dat

all or nothing is how i go now... "breaks" are dumb and only make things worse....IMO

Well, Jen isn't the type of girl that has a lot of guy friends as it is, she does have a flirty personality but she kind of ignores most guys. I really don't know what she is going in Vegas, I don't know if I really WANT to know. She told me she does not want a boyfriend right now period. Not me, or any other guy. I trust her to do the right thing actually. She gave me her word that she will remain loyal to me, and I gave her mine as well. I plan to live to mine, atleast for now. If we end up being "just friends" for to long, well **** that.

Sigh, its been like 6:30 since she told me we are done for now. Apparently she got pretty upset when I did not like the idea of being friends. No clue what she is trying to pull here. We talked about it for two hours, which was pretty stupid. Didn't really get any where. She had to go "pack" and stuff for Vegas, or so she said. The last time I heard from her was about 8:30 or so, thats when I said bye and told her that I loved her. So what should I do guys? Should I just hold off on texting her this week unless she textes me first? Would that make her think I forgot about her, I don't want that? Or should I text her occasionally in hopes she will reply?

We are pretty young, she is 17 but still, I think we were/are really in love. It is rough. She said we could be "best friends, very very very good friends" whatever you want to call it, and see if we can work up to being a couple again. She said if I "really loved her, then I would try this for her" Hopefully she is just stressed right now and that is what brought this on, but I don't know. Her parents were mad at her for something, and she was angry and aggravated. We also argued for awhile last night so she was probably tired. Who knows, hopefully it works for the best. Tomorrow I'm really hoping she will call, but I never know. Right now I'm pretty calm, still down, but calm. Earlier I was really upset, I seem to be a little calmer after my drive. It wouldn't be as bad if I didnt have to pay nearly 3 dollars a gallon for gas before my "cruise to get away for a bit".

To me it sounds like shes looking to meet other people and see what else is out there (if not a little booty) while shes in las vegas (harsh as it is). Cool off and let her be. Don't call her or hound her, and see what happens.

In the meantime, be there as a friend and see how things turn out. Dont be a pushover, but try not to get fed up and be an *** either. Larry was a total pushover :p

Thanks for the advice. She is going to Las Vegas with her parents, so I really doubt she is getting or giving a little booty. :p Plus, she is not that type of girl anyways. Even before this stupid fight she said she did not think she would be able to call me much, if any, while she was there. She is sharing a small room with her parents. I don't think I will call her, but I'm sure no matter what I say I will end up texting atleast every day. We are the type of couple where it is unusual for us to go more then 3 hours (unless sleeping or something) without hearing from eachother. I plan to be here for her, and show her that I truely love her and would like to be her boyfriend again. Maybe she will see that I am really serious and did not take this as a chance to run off.
