We always argue about stupid stuff, if you want to fight with me atleast pick something decent. You pick and pick and pick at everything Justin and I am sick of it. I can't go anywhere or do anything without you wanting to know when I will be home, where I am going, and who I am going with"

Explain to me, is asking where she is going, who she is with, and when she thinks she will be home REALLY THAT bad?

I really feel for you, I truly do. My wife and I are going through the same thing, only times 10. I don't want to get into any details- that's for a thread of my own when I'm ready. But I can relate. Is it ever hard. Funny thing is, I'm in Vegas right now (not of my choice, military duties), and she's at home, in my home, doing her thing. I think you need to decide what you want to do about everything and stand by it. I thought I wasn't going to talk to my wife nearly as much as I have. Don't fall for the text or voicemail saying, "we need to talk, it's important." I did- it's just so they can talk to you.

As much as it hurts, the hurting will eventually stop. And whatever the outcome is, you came out a better man. You will learn from this, no matter how painful the lesson is, and be able to walk away from this point in your life with a better perspective. I wish I could say that everything is going to work out between you and Jen, or this is what you need to do to move on, but something like this is never that easy. I honestly wish it were. I'd be taking that route myself. If you need anything, please, feel free to email me. I'm willing to share with you whatever I can and hope that I can help in any way. Just remember- pain is temporary. You will be able to move on, whatever the outcome of your relationship is.

Oh yeah, by the way, I'm in Vegas now until mid-May. If you need a little recon or whatever done, I'm your man... ;)

Thanks for the advice. She is going to Las Vegas with her parents, so I really doubt she is getting or giving a little booty. :p Plus, she is not that type of girl anyways. Even before this stupid fight she said she did not think she would be able to call me much, if any, while she was there. She is sharing a small room with her parents. I don't think I will call her, but I'm sure no matter what I say I will end up texting atleast every day. We are the type of couple where it is unusual for us to go more then 3 hours (unless sleeping or something) without hearing from eachother. I plan to be here for her, and show her that I truely love her and would like to be her boyfriend again. Maybe she will see that I am really serious and did not take this as a chance to run off.

i say give her some space text her maybe 2 or three times during the week, so she dont think it over..... and tex somthing that not a need a reply like "just wanted to say hi, have fun!"

somthing like that.... this way she know you care but your also not pushing her into anything.....

and when she gets back she can't say "why didn't you blah blah blah"

:( Said she isn't ready for a serious relationship right now. She said she wants to go back to being "very very very good friends" like we were before I asked her out. Basically, she wants me as her boyfriend, with no strings attached. She is leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon, I asked if she could call and tell me good bye and she said "maybe". Real nice, huh? She broke up with me over IM, and then called me and I heard it some more. :rant: I agreed to be friends for now, and she said we maybe can "work toward being us again" Oh get this, she also threw in the classic line "Its not you, its me" She says I control her to much. I don't see asking her where shes going and who shes going with to be controlling? I ask her when she thinks she will be home, and I'm controlling her. I find it quite ironic how whenever I go out somewhere without her, she asks me those same questions. She said she still loves me, and always will. I know shes not going to call me while shes in Vegas for the week, and I asked her about texting me and she said "I don't know if I can" It's bull****, I'm pissed, crushed, and devastated all at the same time. I told her I can fix everything if she just let me. "No" seemed to be her favorite reply. I just got back from a long drive to try and clear my head, didn't really work like it usually does. ****! I just want to scream. Alright, well I just wanted to tell someone, anyone. Hopefully we can work on this when she gets back from Vegas. It would be nice if she called me tomorrow before she leaves, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If anyone has any tips or advice, feel free to reply. If your going to leave a jackass reply, go ahead and GTFO.

Thanks a ton for the kind words man, means a bunch to me. Sorry about you and your wife, I can imagine it is probably a lot worse. Especially if kids are involved. Fortunately, me and Jen have not gotten to that point yet. I really don't know what I can do. I sure know what I want to do, and that is whatever I possibly can to make things right. I really dont wan't to lose this girl, I feel that I've got something special here. Yes she broke up with me, but I don't think she is actually "gone" yet. She wants to remain friends and says we can work at getting back to being US again. But, only time will tell. I probably won't know until Easter Sunday when she gets home. Maybe the Monday. Who knows, she might do a lot of thinking while shes there and decide she is really through with me. But, on the same hand I think I will discover how much she really means to me while she is away for a week. About the "We need to talk, its important line" I would do anything to talk to her right about now. It is sad to say, but I'd even love to have her ***** at me right now. Just for old times sakes. Love is confusing man, but I am sure I will get through this. I HOPE I will get through it with her by my side, and not as my damn friend. Well, as my friend..but more. Just let it go man and move on. Just be friends but don't get into a relationship with her. I don't even recommend you call her. Just her cards for Christmas and Birthdays, that's it.

You must trust me. This sort of thing never works out. Even if you got back together, chances are you guys will break up again. Just look for someone who is more like yourself and enjoys your company and thinks of you all time and you the same. You'll be much happier.

About a year ago i was broke off of a 2 year relationship. Times SUCKED for a good month or two after. Kinda have ot get used to half of you not being there anymore. But its been a little more than a year now, and I must say i am very happy. Started playing sports again, went back to school, work full time. have money saved up... even though i still owe a lot for stupid ****.

With the whole phone thing, I mean don't give in. Calling and talking to her will only reopen the wounds. Collect your thoughts, and wait for her to call you. That way you know you will have to time to talk, and have had the time to think of what you really want to tell her. I just finished writing my wife a three page letter becuase I am horrible at conveying my feelings with words. Do what you think will get her to understand what you feel. I guess at this point that's the best you can do. Then go from there

HOw old is she? first time to vegas? regardless.. dont talk to her the whole week she is there..unless she calls you. thats different. but pretend your busy. run and and start your car saying you're working on it. thats what i do. haha.

when she comes back and asks why not. just say you didnt want to bug her while she was out having a good time what not. cause honestly, the last thing i'd want is the girl i just broke up with calling me while im away from it all on vacation.
