    Brother got a Mach 1 Mustang... BADASS!

    what a badass car! definatly one of the fastest cars i have ever been in..

    5-speed and it chirps 4th gear!
    after he bought it we were driving home and were at a red light w/ no one in front of us.. floored it in first shifted into second and the tires were SPINNING.. not a chirp they were spinning..

    what a badass car.. here are the pics from the dealer.. i will have pics of my bros mach 1 and my GT up soon

      i just looked up 1/4 mile times on a stock 2003 mach 1 5-speed.. 13.2

      my brothers is a 2004.. wonder if they're any faster then the 2003 model.. i know it has a cobra motor in it.. i'm so jealous.. such a nice car

        I test drove a couple of those back in 03, an automatic and a 5-speed. The GT 5-speed convertible I drove felt faster than the auto Mach I, but the 5-speed was a monster.

              I did that in my GT when I first got it. Scared the effing piss out of me :o When you have a car with power, powershifting into 2nd just isn't an option. :o

                  '98z28 6speed or A4? or a SS with 3.23s instead of 2.73s.
                  Or a '02 SS 6speed with upgrades checked off from dealer for 345hp package.

                  But Mach1's are sweet and they finally got it right with the DOHC motor. Automatics run way slower than the 5speeds. and 13.2 is one of the best times outta it, just like LS1s, times will vary.

                    where did you get that stat? when i was looking into the mach1 the best that i came up with was 13.8. i drove it and it didn't impress me that much. shaun(99 gt) raced one and kicked his butt. but anyways congrats to him. looks good. needs to changed the clapier paint.

                      under ford mach 1 2003 5-speed


                      with slicks on his mustang i am sure it could easily break into the 12s.. the biggest problem in that car is traction.. very hard to keep the tires from spinning in 1st and 2nd

                      the stock automatic runs 13.8s which is pretty slow compared to a stock gt that runs 14.1


                      my brother ended up paying 19k for it.. we talked the dealer down from 23k so we got a pretty good deal.. after taxes and warranty he ended up paying a little over 20.5k

                      the shaker hood on it is awesome.. the cold air that comes up from the hood shakes from side to side when you rev the motor :)

                      i am part of the reason he bought a stang haha he said he had to beat my GT cause he is my big bro

                          That's a nice car. I like the shaker hood on that too.

                          I have an AutoWeek where the 03 Mach 1 beats the 03 GTO eventhough the goat had 45 more hp. I think it weight like over 460lbs more or something.
