Cop fired for misconduct (racing in his cruiser plus more)

A couple of nights ago on the news, they played dash cam footage from an out of control cop. He didn't know the camera was operating. The camera caught him speeding/racing and doing personal business while on patrol.

This happened late last year, but the footage was just recently released. If this would have been a civilian racing, you know how much fun the police and the media would have had with this.

^^Thanks Mods! Indeed he needs to lose his job, please don't bash the rest who perform their duties and treat people as fair as needed. Although many will disagree, there still are decent Police Officers out there. He IS a moron for doing that though, and luckily he didn't hurt anyone while F'ing around!
As said in our department, every township, district, precinct, (whatever) has their Tackleberry!

yeah man i wasn't really bashing every one my grandpa was a cop... but i do hate the ones liek that, the kind that abuse there badge u know? shrue there are soem good ones but most ones ive seen are the bad kind :-/ and ive seen my fair share :-p

Im an officer and do know that you have your good and bad out there. But you gotta look at it this way in EVERY job you have people that are off the handle and do really stupid stuff that can and do get people killed each day. Some people just didnt get much attention growing up and when they got a little power they used and surely abused it. I know when I was in the military it was just the same.

Oh yeah and I just got that video to work for me and notice they say "OFFICER TRAINEE" so he was a rookie, not any more!!

i was watching the news the other day and some police officer stole the rims off of a impounded car and put it on his car. which is horrible for the fact he was stealing but the police deptment is even more furious becasue he had alot of court case where he was suppose to give his account. now a lot of thoose cases might be thrown out.
