Ok my girl wants to rethink our relationship because of my school loan. Ok I do to Delta Connection Academy, a flight school. Dont go there. Anyways they project the cost to be $80k-115k. My loan was for $90k and I have spent a little more money and a little more of stuff I shouldn't have and I have around $39k left. I have 2-3 ratings left. Now the financial person said I would have enough to finish if i didn't **** up as much anymore. And if I didn't have enough money I would have to take out another loan. Maybe 15k IF THAT. Now she wants to rethink about us. Even though when I get with a major airline I will have no problem paying these loans off. I have talked to alot of people about it even an ex. They said they wouldn't care. I can see where shes coming from about debt and all but its a little overboard to me. My finances are my problems not her. Any feedback?

I can understand from her point of view. Yes, they are your debts now, but if the two of you are in this for the long haul, they would eventually become her debts too. That said, I think its ****ed up to consider leaving someone b/c they are spending money to make their dreams come true, especially when its something as well paying as becoming an airline piolet.

Yeah, I agree.. sounds like she wants someone rich.
