  • Leave it to the cancer patient too...

So at the car meet last night, we were hanging around. A friend of ours has a old *** saturn as a beater. This thing is rough. has like 180k miles, not sure the odometer broke, it had gone like 2 years between oil changes, and during a hurricane it was in a storm surge from a lake that went over the hood line. Pretty sure it was fresh water but the thing was under water over the hood line.

Either way we were screwing around, and a kid tried to see how high he could lift the rear suspension. Couple of guys tried it..

Then I went up, and was able to lift the rear of the car up and actually slide the rear of the car sideways about 1-2 feet.

So out of the 8-10 college guys that tried to move the car on their own, the "cancer patient" was the only one that was able move the car.

if your wondering what the point of the thread is, its just to state that "I am all that is MAN!"

    thank you.

I never tried doing that. But I probably can. Before I messed up my lower back, left shoulder and tore my right achilles tendon I was up to over 600lbs on Deadlift for 5 reps and 545lbs on Squats for 8 reps. I miss being in my early 20's. That was the strongest point in my life.

yeah you probably could, tell you the truth my biggest help was probably my height. Though 2 guys my height couldn't do it.

I am by no means strong at this point. I haven't lifted weights in a long time. I did volunteer to do stock for a few months for the workout. But don't do it anymore.

I am just happy about it because in October, If I walked up a flight of stairs and back down I got a little light headed and winded and had to sit down. :)

this is so funny cause last tuesday at school we were hanging outside the dorms and we noticed one of our friends had his frontier parked next to the curb. cause of pure bordom, we lifted the rear and put one of the tires on the grass up on the curb.

She was ok... she was a basketball cheerleader and she had been lifted in the air before. :) But I will admit she was no 90 lbs. girl that was built like a 10 year old boy, she had curves :naughty:

yeah blldogg same reason we did it, Just a slow carmeet we have on campus, jsut sit around and BS, and talk about some club stuff(school club) We can't do too much since campus police cops come by for the smallest things.
