In the light of Easter I just wanna say Ive been thinkin a lot about it and cant get over the fact that someone would love us so much as to lay down their life and die so that my sins would be washed away and i may live forever with him.....
What do u guys think about it all?

Granted.... I do not worship the all mighty peep.... but many of my friends do.
Some of my friends.... the twisted ones.... like to bite the head off a peep and then put it back in the box with the rest of the peeps... that way the other peeps know what is coming.
I think sins are a matter of perception, a perception created by the intelligent and powerful to keep the masses of stupid people in check.....
Nonetheless, I am going to my aunts house to hide hardboiled eggs. No one is going to look for them after I hide them, I just like the smell of a hardboiled egg after its been sitting in the summer heat for 3 months.

^ Good post Skapimp. I'm fully agnostic. People always try to justify coincidences with otherworldly explanations by calling it luck or karma or a work of god or whatever. I think we jump to conclusions way to quickly and I thoroughly believe that people are way to gullible.
Organized religion is quite possibly the worst thing that has ever happened to this earth. Instead of believing what you truly think, you are forced into a certain set of rules that hardly ever make complete sense to you. And this is what you are supposed to live and die for? Think of every single person you know that claims to be christian, or jewish, or anything else. How many of them actually follow the rules by the book? Of all the religous people I have ever come across (and I went to church a lot growing up so I know whats up) only one person has proven to be a true christian. Now we have people clinging to a title with a big group behind them. This helps because no matter how wrong you are you know it's nearly impossible to get a large group of people to actually admit they are wrong. Don't believe me? Just talk to any mustang owner who says they have a fast car.
There has been far too much genocide and war sparked by organized religion. If we kept our beliefs to ourselves world peace would actually be a possibility. We have some people on this site overseas fighting right now. Ask one of them if they think they would be fighting right now if organized religion didn't exist.
Keep in mind I'm agnotsic, not an idiot. ANYTHING is possible. If I found there actually is a good fair god I would never spite him. But really now, if there was a god I wouldn't have to be at work at 7:30 in the morning on easter. I'd be worshipping the right way by finding easter eggs and eating candy.

A current scientific theory is his body was moved by the disciples to continue christianity because it was known the people would have 'found' another messiah. Learn the politics and history of the region at the time. It is quite interesting. :stp:
