Some schools require ACTs, SATs, or GREs, others do not. For my undergrad degree I needed SATs. For my Master's I needed nothing. For my Ph.D. I needed GREs. All three were different schools.

Your mileage may vary. Check with the schools.

I scored a 1470 on the old (1600 possible) SAT...and now I have enough money in scholarships so I'm actually making money going to my college.

              25 ACT
              1280 SAT

IMO those scores are worthless, there is always a way to get into the school of your choice. Having a high score just puts you in the fast track.

                Re: ACT scores

Something in the 1200s. I was already taking community college classes and was transferring anyways, so I didn't really care what I got on it and didn't prepare. I just did it because my friends were and I wanted to see what I got.

Now I'm working on LSATs. I always was in the top few percent in California on standardized tests in high school and got scholarships from those, but the games on the LSAT are freaking hard.

                    Re: ACT scores

I could be taking the AP test for Calc AB, but I'm so friggin' confused in that class it isn't even funny. I may retake it in community college next year, which is another reason I'm not taking it.
