That's probably why they would never put that in production. GM hates any inter-division competition. They hate anything that can beat the Corvette. That's why GN, Turbo TA, Typhoon, and Syclone got cancelled.
That is true, but can you imagine how many LS-2 Soltices would be crashed if they were a production car. A lot more people would buy them and with that light platform and short wheel base it asking for trouble in the wrong hands. I realize anyone can buy them now, but less people know about the mallot cars because they aren't sitting on a car lot.
I agree with above ^^^ 10-second production cars would be DANGEROUS.

You all have to keep in mind that this car wouldnt run any faster than a vette. The z06 isnt even 300 pounds heavier and with the trans-axel it will have way more weight over the rear tires. Not only that but when the z06 was built from the ground up it was purpose built as a racer. The solstice was built to handle an i4 and now they are going to try to get away with an engine over twice as big. No doubt I want one real bad but this thing wont touch the vette.
There is fast, too fast, and way too fast. Way too fast is almost fast enough.
wow one sick car... id take one real quick... anyone figure up the price for this one with the LS7 in it?? just outta curiousity......
