  • Receiver hitch!

I added a "Hidden Hitch" brand receiver hitch to our new Buick Terraza.

Now we can take bikes along on trips or tow a pop up camper.

Install was easy - just a bit tedious.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I was following a truck the other day. It had a hitch with a giant sticker "Hidden Hitch". If it was hidden, why could I see the sticker? If it is suppose to be hidden, why do they put a sticker on it? :p

                    Re: Receiver hitch!

I have a jetski and I'd hate to be on a wet ramp with my Camaro trying to pull it out. And backing it into the water doesn't sound so great.

cant be that bad if its not salt water, only freshwater here in indiana :) plus there would be plenty of trucks and vans at the ramp that could pull me out. any time i go up there would be with my friend who has a huge van that they pull their boat with.

i want to buy a jetski, but i just bought my car so no money to at this point, but my friend has plenty, like 8 or so, but usually a lack of vehicles to tow them up there, so i can mooch and just tow or w/e until i get one

Bingo - that's exactly what our has - I'm going out right now to paint over the stupid lettering.

The draw bar and mounting is up higher and angles back more than than most DrawTite or Reese draw bars. The receiver is lower than the draw bar and ends up flush with the bottom of the bumper cover. It sticks out less than standard draw bars.

the only thing i am weary about is my exhaust is all welded, it looks like i have to drop it a little to fit anything up there, and i'm afraid i will bend or break some exhaust componet if i try to install it
