BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Some Montana parents are sick of the dirty dancing at Bozeman High School.
Dean and Melea Mortenson wrote the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, saying the dancing at the spring prom on April 8 was the equivalent of "sex with clothes on."
The Mortensons objected to a dance fad called the "bump and grind," and urged parents to speak out at Monday's meeting of the Bozeman School Board.
Bozeman High Principal Godfrey Saunders said the school discourages inappropriate dancing.
But he added that his main concern is to make sure the students aren't drinking or doing drugs.
Saunders said he wants the students to get home alive.
