im not going to rant or whine and complain. just want an honest answer. is anybody (girl in my case) worth waiting for, when you're not sure how long you will be waiting for.

I don't think so at our age (early 20s). Once you get older and marriage is in consideration then for the right girl yes.

i didnt wana get into the background of the relationship. but we dated off and on for 3 years and she still means the world to me, but she has moved on to another guy. i really do see us together in the long run, but its hard to wait while i dont see any light at the end of the tunnel. but no, its not just for fun.

I spent 10 years of my life between 2 different women that would have made great wives. None of us were ever ready for that commitment. Now, I'm older, wiser and they are friends and I wish them the best. I've moved on with my life for my needs. There are too many missed oppertunities(sp?) to wait and nothing ever happens.

Go live your life man... for you. I don't think that you won't find someone that will make you happy... I KNOW YOU WILL.

thanks for the advice guys. the thing i cant stand is that it isnt fair for me to start a relationship with another girl until im over the girl i truly love, and i've been trying for months and nothing seems to help. its like im supposed to wait? i dont know.

I think me and you are in the same boat Dmw, and I think this girl is worth waiting for. I hope with time she will come around. We shall see. But in the mean time, I will be waiting. Atleast until I know that it is truely over.

Dude, no way. She's using you as the emotional crutch. It'd be probably best if you moved on and stopped talking to her. Maybe a call every once in a while, but thats it.

I was in a friendship like that, the girl drug my heart through the mud for a year. I finally wised up and moved on. I still talk to her every once in a while.
