i have for sale the stroker motor and i was wondering why no one is interested in it. its an awesome package but i cant seem to get any feedback at all on it. i hope im not breaking a rule by asking for feedback on it or whatever.
thanks
The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great
heres my take on it...dont take offense to anything please becuase im just going to say it how i see it...
its in 21292848848 peices- most people dont have the time to deal with it, you have to also take into account that A) most people on this site are either still in highschool or in college the older people of this site just dont have that kind of time to put it back together B)the price, with A being in mind most are either part time highschool students or broke college students that would rather eat for the next 5 months moreso than have a 4k dollar engine sitting around in peices. C) most people here are pretty content with having a nice looking car that is moderately fast and dont care about racing it.
IIRC there wasnt a whole lot of interest in the motor originally when the guy was selling it except you and MAYBE 1-2 others that were serious.
now granted you say everything is there and whatnot and that everything is fine. but this is the internet, and people are wary of spending that kind of cash on something that they wont see in person until it gets there. personally for me i would never buy a motor with out seeing it run or knowing for a fact that everything is there and that it will run with out more problems arising.
in all honesty the price seems steep to me and not worth the money when you can build a turbo kit for that price or go the cheap route with n20 and get better results with less hassle.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
