1. I heard they were making a lot of restrictions on cars to make the field more competetive, but most of those changes only affected the GTO :tdown:. I guess thats what happens when an american in an american car start to dominate a japanese sport. I've heard people would actually booing the judges at some tracks when they voted for the goat.
2. The GTO will be no more next year so Pontiac needs to find a car to replace all it's GTOs that are winning. Be it drift or, Grand American. Way to take the heart out of a winning race program GM.
lol nice E85 powered, and once again the paint job is awful o well. next they should make a hybrid that runs on it and really dominate the economy market once it becomes significantly cheaper, its not cheaper here ne way, and more evironmentaly friendly.
didnt we have a discussin b4 about the GTO, how the monaro version was just to tide us over and that they will reintroduce it again under a new platform(the original plan apparently). ne way yah GM kinda does that, like how the C6R finished 1st and 2nd at le mans i think and no word of it in advertisements, although GTO.R wins did make an appearance.

I realize the GTO is cancelled until they release the "real" GTO. It just seems like they are screwing their race effort by not letting this generation runs it's course into the next.
I know what you mean about the vette. It is odd that they never hype all their efforts. The C5R and C6R have both been pretty dominant, but you never hear about it unless you are really into lemans. Whatever happened to race on Sunday sell on Monday?
