Im planning to rasterbate this photoshop that i made of my car.. Im gonna have it use somewhere between 35-40 sheets of paper, so it'll be a huge poster... I cant wait. We did a rasterbate of a coldplay photoshop we made in our dormroom, its awesome, i love this program.
Yea i obviously photoshopped that image like that... the edges on the car are kinda rough too, but that wont be noticable once the image gets printed into a bunch of dots on so many pages. Thats why im also not too worried about the different colored sky reflection. With the rasterbate, you do get alot of detail, but not quite that much that it will affect how fake it looks or whatnot
You can upload any picture you want, and then mess around with how big it will print it. Theres also a standalone version that you can download from that site that will let you use smaller mm dots for higher detail. The one of my camaro i'll be doing in 3mm dots with the standalone version.
FYI, when you get to the last step online that says "rasterbate!" or whatever, it wont actually print it from there, so dont worry about going to that step if your unsure if you want to print it. It loads the rasterized image into an adobe pdf file and lets you print it from there. When its in adobe you'll be able to see how big the dots are to tell if its enough detail for you or not.
Damn man. Im guessing it eats almost an entire set of ink cartridges. The printer will print that close to the edge of the paper and not overspray past it?

It actually only used a small amount of my ink cartridges, not even half. It will leave about a 1/4" white border around each page that you cut off when you put the rasterbate together. Or you can leave the blank borders on and have a unique tile like look.
