I recently had 4.10s w/ LSD installed, and have finally completed the 500 mile break-in period. Eric (Shenanigans) tuned my car for the gears, Increased Timing, and deleted Engine Torque Management. I floored my car a couple days ago and lost traction at around 15mph and went sideways, let off and floored it again, and before I knew it I was already at 70mph, so I let off! LOL
I think my car feels ABOUT .6 of a second quicker! I’m going to do some more serious weight reduction until I have enough money to get a Torque Converter. I also just received my GLASSTEK 4” Cowl Induction Hood (Bolt-on), and I’m going to put it on very soon! My car is coming along great! The only problem is that I had the owner of Next Level Performance (Mike Norris) look at my oil leaks, and he is 75% sure it’s the Rear Main Seal, and the Driver-Side Valve Cover Gasket (not the intake manifold). I’ll get the Rear Main Seal done when I get my Torque Converter, and the valve cover gasket done later on because it’s a small leak.
My goal is to run high 13’s this winter after my car is complete (Torque Converter, more Weight Reduction, and Drag Radials).
