  • I'm Rich B****

Not really, however for being 18 I just got an awesome promotion at work to where I will very soon be yielding much more money than I am now, more than double. So with the future looking bright do I turbo the Camaro or sell/trade in on an 00-02 SS and go from there? I want the sleeper car but at the same time an SS is balls to the wall performance out of the box (thanks Accept for that great song).

That depends on how much work you want to do, and how much sentimental value the car has. If you are too busy to do the work, and you don't mind selling the car - go SS. If you like working on the car (like I do), keep it.

I say keep your current car cuz your insurance is gonna go up with an SS.

I would agree on not spending too much dough on a car immediately, but picking between the two alternatives you gave I would get an '02 SS, that is if your car doesn't hold too much sentimental value for you.

Yeah, that's very good advise. The way real estates are going right now. A house just sounds more logical.

Besides, if you buy a Camaro SS right now, later on you will amp for a Corvette. Just rise your money for a house and then buy a Corvette later on.

              Delay gratification.

It sounds far less appealing when you put it that way. :)

Stay with your car fix it up slowly, still and invest, you'll loose money with the insurance on the SS that extra money could be making you money its nice to have a SS but a car you worked on and took from a 15/16 to where ever is even better.

Ya, I plan on finishing college, just finished freshman year with a 3.4 not the best but thats with working full-time too. I just want something I can drive daily and also take to the track and have some fun, the camaro is fun now just pokey compared to our WS6 T/A....but I understand that delaying gratification...big deal in psych. lol. Thanks all for replying.
