create an alert box

I know this is an unusual question. But I need to create an alert that pops up everytime someone tries to print something. I dont know what the message will say yet, but it should have the caution symbol and a yes/cancel.
os will be a fully updated XP. I just dont even know where to stick any needed code, let alone what that code will be. I know the code wont be that difficult (at least they're not in javascript) but I dont know what file to edit so that it'll happen every time they wish to print.

My dad owns a 'the ups store' and wants to setup a computer for people to use. however he doesnt want them to think printing is free, so when they click on print this alert box should come up and notify them just to double check things.

any help or suggestions is needed and appreciated!

use a label maker and just put a lable on the top of the monitor "Printing = $x.xx per page" or whatever, much easier ;)

you're right, and it is. This was brought up too. But I see his point, it being that people will come up with any excuse not to pay. This way they have to click one more thing before it even allows them to print.
