you think youre discouraged?!!!?? try owning a v8 that is slower than some of these new 4bangers and v6s! im fine with that though. my car gets much more looks than most of those cars.. plus!!....ive got something in the works to handle them plus some of the new v8s. :stp:

yeah, 160hp from a 3.4 (my M5 '94 cam, , cat-back Flowmaster/CAI) seems pretty damn lethargic by today's standards, but I don't like how any of these new cars look; plus I'm just a bonafide Camaro FUHRREAK, and if I don't mod mine, I will simply buy another 4th gen and mod that, or possibly a classic (i.e. 68 Cam). otherwise, I will definitely be all over the 5th gen when (if) it comes out.

I doubt they'll ever be valuable, but I think V6 Camaros could be considered classics someday. Is a 1st generation Camaro or Mustang not considered a classic if it has a 6 cylinder engine?

find me someone with a first gen v6 camaro............you cant.....if someone picked up a v6 first gen camaro then they all swap engines and drop a 350 or bigger, who wouldnt? i mean hell, w/the fine as hell curves of the first gen's why leave or even want a v6 in it

there was a hugger orange 69 camaro inline 6 by me... damn near bought it too but i found my 4th gen cheaper... alot cheaper

I look at it this way...my Cobalt with tons of money put into it for looks it didn't look half as good as my Camaro. The cobalt was a cool looking car and most of the tuners if done with style are very good looking cars as well. However, I have come to a conclusion after thinking about all this, will a neon get you laid? Will a focus? Nope....not even a 2 foot aluminum wing will help them, but will an F-body?....you guys can answer that ; ) It's sex on wheels and no one can deny that, except for those bound to strict sexual regulations because of religion or law.

As technology increases each year, cars get faster and faster. Nothing you can do about it but either modify your current ride or trade into a newer car..... or ignore them

You just said they'd never become classics, which I don't think depends on what engine it has. My point was that they're still classics no matter what engine they came with, not that people wouldn't change the engine. Unless you're saying putting a V8 in a first gen six cylinder (I think they were all inline), makes it a classic, which doesn't really make sense.

Personally, I'd rather have the original engine in a car regardless of what it was. Not that value really matters that much if I like it, but I just go for originality.

i can think of a certain v6 that didnt lose its value.. the turbo t/a. but then again its a 20th anny car on top of being a limited production car. but hey its still a 6er! lol.
