I said no. Doesn't sound horrible, but I prefer the hollow sound of the stock 350z exhaust and that thing must be really loud if you can hear it that far away.

I like that hollow sound too. I should put a 350Z muffler on my car.

Yea, i think it sounds pretty cool. It may not have the rumble that people on this board are particular to, but its cool in its own way. Sounds a lot like one of those Touring Cars from europe or japan.

That exhaust would go well with General Tso's chicken and an egg roll.

I don't like the tinny/metaly (new word) exhaust note of the VQ35 in the G-35s and 350s. That car sounds similar to a sport bike though, not too bad.

Re: Does this V6 sound good?

i used to work at a full service car wash a year and a half ago and we had a guy that came in with his modded 350. He had that same invidia exhaust setup and a nismo intake and a tune. That video doesn't do that exhaust justice. Sounds much better in person. With a V6 you can lean either way to what you want your exhaust to sound like. More mellow and low sounding, or a higher pitched tuner sound. Speaking of that though, anyone got a sound clip with a v6 camaro/firebird with a single catback like an import would have???? haha not that i would even consider buying that or recommend it to anyone, but id be curious to what it would sound like

well its not just the exhaust system that seperates the two exhaust notes. its mostly in the design of the engine.
