        Re: Good driving music?

I used to be into rap, but I have moved away from that. I occationally go to some rap but not much. Usually I listen to alternative rock, classic rock, hard rock, light rock and all the pebbles in between. One of my favorite classic rock song to listen to while driving is "Free Bird" by lynryd skynyrd. <--amazing song!

                Re: Good driving music?

Love my Trance, but man does it get me into trouble, I have this problem with driving to the rythem of music, so if its hot, fast, full, and busy sounding, well so is my gas pedal...... It can easily grow to make me fly in rush hour around here doing 90+ mph in 60s...... So it's not so safe all the time, so I tend to listen to alot more 70's-early 90's rock, some new stuff. But tends to not have that same effect, besides I have subs and stuff, screaming Rush- Limelight doesn't get you dirty looks by the old guys at stop lights, and my dad doesn't give me **** when he gets in my car when I go up and see him.

                Edit:

I think to hear my exhaust over my system, I would literally need to run the pipes up right behind my seats... *hmm* Now there is an idea!

                    Re: Good driving music?

I listen to mostly rock & metal in my car. I try and listen to rap ocassionally, but it gets old hearing it every night at work. (I DJ at a large nightclub and play mostly rap & hip-hop music there).

Its a nice change and its great to drive to, although some songs tend to make me want to drive fast (ie. Saliva - Superstar & Ramstein - Feuer frei!)

Looks like we have quite a variety of music out here. Personally I like a good bit of rock and rap, how about we compile a list of our favorite songs?
