Theres a brige i go across on the way to work, its wide open no houses or anything around for about 8 miles, so the speed limit is 45. well some guys jumps off the brige and kills himself, so the next day theres all kinds of cops and stuff on the bridge and i guess they seen alot of people go faster than the speed limit, but it is in the middle of nowhere.
so the day after that there was cop sitting in the middle of the bridge in an unmarked car, and then there was one at the end of the bridge(it y's at the end) so i cross the bridge and i was going 50 even, didnt even realize it was an unmarked car. so i get by the end of the bridge and seen the 2nd cop. it looked like he was about to pull out in front of me and so i slowed to almost a stop then he waves me on. i make the turn he pulls me over. he comes over tells me i was going 56 and ask for just my license, no registration at all. goes back to his car comes back with a ticket for $106.50 stating i was going 57(not 56 like he previously stated) in a 35. he then left. the opposing bridge is 45 and its clearly stated several times. but theres no speed limit signs on the side i was on at all.
so i fought it and told the judge exactly what i just said, and won simple as that. i was going to pay it but my mom said i should fight it and i did and look what i happened. if i was guiltly i would have took responsibility, but i wasnt. i was just a target 19 year old in a camaro. some cops are just straight up **** heads.
