i wouldnt imagine it would be harmful considering you put it in your house and breathe it daily. i say go for it and get back with on the results, make sure to get napthalene!

i rember napathalene from chemistry class its some type of hydrocarbon dont rember all the specifics but its not good for you to breath in. napathalene is one of the two type of chemicals that are in mothballs. its either napathalene or something else. while im preatty sure that is its a hydrocarbon itll probably do something to ur gas i do rember my professor telling me that it was bad for you period and that people that used mothballs for years got some type of cancer so im guessing thoose fumes arent good for you either.
anyone remember the acitone(sp) threads from about a year ago?
acetone.
yeah, I posted those. you can expect a 3 -5 mpg increase on average; it reduces the surface tension of gasoline, facilitating more efficient combustion, not to mention REALLY cleaning out the carbon deposits in the engine. I still use it when I have some (I have a pretty decent inventory of lab-grade reagents, including methanol) so I know it works, and doesn't damage the o-rings. I started using it around the time I posted those threads.
and napthalene is a two-membered ring structure (think of two benzene rings attached side-by-side); I don't see how it would boost octane or combustion.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
