dammit... got pulled over the other day in lorain county for not having one... told the cop it was under my seat (it is) and that the bracket broke (it isnt) and he told me to get it fixed and he let me off with a verbal warning... here in lake county where im at, they never bother you for stuff like that... im still not puttin it on

Luckily here in Oklahoma, you dont have to have that crap front plate on......I've seen some people come up with innovative ways of having a front plate and not looking too bad....i've seen pics of one person having it tucked under the front nose....he shaved some of it and it doesnt scrape.......much.

yea people put them on the air dam, but thats just as illegal as not having it there at all.

I have mine on my air dam, but I think I'm just gonna take it off b/c my buddy is a cop and said thats worse than not having it at all b/c it shows you know its wrong....they ruin fbodies....o well

well.... just so you know.. its an 85 dollar ticket. been there done that 2 times before i learned my lesson...is it ugly? yes, but id rather keep my 85 bucks and spend it on something else.

personally i hate our license plate (american) the european plates are much better imo they're short long and rectangular and they dont seem to take up as much space or a look as ugly.

yea i live in okla and am so glad we dont have to have front license plates....i have a bro that lives in tx and has a 68 ss camaro and on those theres really no good place to put them in the front, tx law requires license plates in both front and back....so what he did, since he lived here in okla b4 he moved to tx is just left his okla tag on, kept his regristration up to date, insurance and **** like that, hasnt gotten pulled over yet...

Ohio law is:
"visible from front of vehicle"

as long as you can read it from the front be it air dam, bumper, or windshield it's legal.

not quite shane. the first plate ticket i got, i had it in the windshield and it was visible. that cop told me it must be on the front bumper of the car. that was while i lived in vandalia. the second time was in dayton i had it on the airdam, i was told the same thing by that cop. i gave in and put the bracket back on and just dealt with the ugliness ever since.

any of you have the original plate cover filler thing. I don't have to have a plate on the front in KY but i guess whoever i bought the car off of, well they took it off.

I wonder if I did get pulled over for it if I could fight it since it only says "visible from front of car" I mean you can read it, just not when you are standing over it. O well, wish me luck lol.

I've got about 5 warnings. The only tickets I get are when I'm busted for speeding, and they get you for everything.

I've ridden around with it on my air dam for 4 and a half years. I've gone through 2 road blocks a year at least, and they never bothered me. It got ripped off on a snowbank and was off for a total of only one week till I could fix it, and I got a ticket for not having one in that very short amount of time. So it goes to show you around here, if they can see it, they don't give a sh*t. It's actually in plain site believe it or not. (I know its still illegal)

I figured if I ever got pulled over for it, I'd say the car didn't come with one when I bought it, and didn't want to spend 55 bucks for a new holder so I thought I'd do the next best thing.
