Here's what I think about the issue regarding faithfulness to the comic/characters vs. adapting them for a movie: the theme for X-Men is what is most important, not the exact details with how the material is presented: who cares if the Phoenix is a second part of Gene's personality (movie) vs. a being that inhabits her body? (comic.) The whole theme of the X-Men universe emphasizes tolerance of individual differences. Details are just the meat. It's called artistic license.

Da*n i missed it..i just watched the movie ...it was awesome and i liked it...but since i didn't watched the movie i DIDN'T clicked on this topic thinking that it might ruin some surprizes.... so, i didn't knew there was something after the credits.... What actually happened after the credit? any video link?.... i am so curious..........

It's just a 30 sec. reel that shows Prof. Xavier on a hospital bed, whole and alive. And we all thought during the movie that Jean disentegrated him. This is one of those thing that left me with a ?

Actually, from what I was told, I didn't stay to watch the end either. But xavier was put into another person and that's who you see. his conscience was transfered over to another person. Remember the whole random scene where he's talking to the students about putting someone's brain into a vegetable?

Oh yes, I remember now. Yes you are right sir. I just saw an old, hairy body all hooked up to a tube that's why it was hard to determine if it is him. Sort of looked like him.

I went and saw it yesterday. I own the first two, so me and my friends watched them both and then went to the third one. I liked it and left me with some questions. Wolverine got the sh** kicked out of him by juggernaut inside Jean's house. That was awesome.

i just got home from seeing that tonite. luckily i knew about the scene at the end. my girlfriend is an X-Men nut for some odd reason and wanted me to take her all week and she had no idea about the scene. she was so excited when i told her about it. i thought it was kind of odd at first with that random scene with the brain in a vegetable theory but as soon as i saw the hospital bed i knew what happened. kinda confused as to how or why it happened but im not complaining. X-4 is gonna be the s**t
