I was at the exhuast shop this weekend to buy filter cleaner for my bird. There's this guy that's probably in his early 60's with an LT1 convertible getting his muffler done.
The owner of the shop told him how they installed a full exhaust set up on my car, including the catalytic converter and asked the guy if he wanted a full exhaust done to his car. He was giving him a discount but he turned it down.
After his muffler was done, I told him that his Vette sounded really good. He said to me, "So you own that Camaro huh. You know that's a poor man's Corvette. If you want I'll sell you my other Corvette (1990 convertible)."
I said no ofcourse and just laughed to myself. Other than saying "a poor man's Corvette," he called my Firebird, Camaro.
If he found out that I have a V6, he would have probably said "a poor man's V8." :D
