You know I could go buy a Vette if I wanted to, and I do like the car, but I just don't really want one to be more than honest. Around here the old guys in thier Vette's really play with me on the street more than anything, I had one of them pull over next to me in a parking lot he was leaving and ask me about my car, ended up talking for hours. So I havn't had to deal with the nose up yet.
We arn't bashing Corvette's just most of the owners where some of these people live... We all love the Vette, some of us don't want one if we could afford one, but we all love it!
I don't know what it is with alot fo vette owners. Alot of them are douches. There are cool ones though. My dad fits the mid-life crisis for vettes but he has owned like 3 or so f-bodies in his life.
He wanted to upgrade. He babies it but less then some fo the peopel on this board. His car gets more miles a year then my car LOL He drives and enjoys the car.
I never understood why people baby cars for the next owner?
LOL I saw a funny post on another board a guy said. "My trans am doesn't have a vette motor, the vette has my trans am motor."
btw niko95, you would rather own a v6 f-body then a vette? LOL

I'm personally not a fan of the Vette, with all respect to them and as much as I do like them, I don't see myself ever buying them. Too hard, to easy, to controled of a car. And my v6 is not staying with me, its more of a learning expierience and something new and fun, plus I get to build something up not too many people build. It's going to my little brother in a year or two depending on how he behaves with his gas pedal. I will be buying a '97 SS probably next fall, I want the LT4! And I wouldn't give up that car for any Vette. Sooner or later I will buy a Vette but it will be a stingray with either a 327 for fast revs, or a 427-454 for brute power. If I wanted a super sports car feel and look I will buy a super sports car, being the BMW M5 I drove dusted a new Vette and I like the M5 more.
Like I said though don't get me wrong its a hell of a car just doesn't fit me.
Its like a Harley, I love em, I want one, but not anytime soon, it just doesn't fit me.
Hi, everyone. We bought a 97 base model convertible Camaro and someone broke the motor ... Lights were blinking on the dash and that someone ignored the...
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
