it's a typo, no way is the new camaro coming out this year. he probably meant 2009. but if the new camaro was coming out this year, it would have an LS2, just like at the concept does. but by the time 2009 rolls around, a more powerful engine will be necessary. i think it will get the LS7. the camaro has never been outpowered by a factory mustang, and it's not about to start now.

Re: camaro convert is a go! camaro coming out this year?!?!?!?!
I agree. I don't think I much believe any of it. If you read all the way through it, they say Chrysler is sure to release an SRT-8 version of the Challenger... Hmm, im pretty sure Chrysler never said the Challenger was a go, let alone an SRT-8 version.
If it is all true, then im going to be pretty pissed when Im still hanging on to my goat 'cause I didn't have time to can it for a Camaro 'vert. :p
Re: camaro convert is a go! camaro coming out this year?!?!?!?!
MT isn't irresponsible enough to make an untrue claim that significant. That said, I'm sure it's a typo.
