No cutting a whole in a car like that is like destroying a '64 impalla in mint condition to put f%$^$%# hydrolics in it!

You don't take a car that is hand built and destroy it with a SAW! If they took some time and want t-tops or a targa top, thats one thing, I still wouldn't dream of doing it, I would just buy another car when we are dealing with something like that.

He destroyed one of the best street legal race cars there is! And one of the best made! Ya he can get it fixed, but a weld is a weld, and they arn't the same. If I saw someone do that on the street to a car like that I would be on my way to jail.

With the rest of you, I have no problems cutting t-tops, but I havn't seen anyone even with money cut up their roof and then just say ohh well, it needed a cool down!

If I could get paid to be stupid he77 give me my check!

Its not dumb to put hydrolics on a '64 Impala, its all opinion. He obviously knew that the work on the sunroof was gonna be done instantly after he cut the damn thing, because it was all cleaned up and nice looking before the end of the episode.

Nice looking is exactly my point, but never the same again and the value of an extremely nice and rare car has been destroyed. Simply put, I should burn the Declaration of Independance because it doesn't make a difference, I can write another one right?

Thats not simply put. You can in no way compare the Declaration of Independance to some Italian sports car. There is only one Declaration and its priceless, Lambo's are produced daily and cost $250000. Big difference? Yes. Oh yeah, the biggest thing is, he bought it, he can do what he wants with it.

who says the value has been destroyed, look who owns it, that boosts the value, look who made the first cut, another famous *** person, i bet some famous *** body shop put in the sun roof, and can you think of any other lambo with a sunroof, no, i bet its worth more just because of who made the first cut, who owns it, and its uniqueness

Fake value! Lame value! Makes no real world difference, And most people who could afford that car and would buy it wouldn't because of that very fact......Who owned what is left for the 14yr old girls who catch a pair of underwear at a concert. Unless you are talking about something truely rare with a value that can be considered popular by the collectors of that particular item.
No collector who is going to pay for a car like that once it becomes rare, is going to buy it simply because some stupid *American* <No offense I am also* decided to the cut the roof all up one day, no matter how famous they think they are. *Again I only say that because many very particular collectors of such things are not American, and look down on Americans as a whole for stuff like that.

Either way those cars become priceless... It's a disgrace!

if our cars were designed to have the roofs cut off why would some come factory with hard tops???? its a hard top for a reason, duh.

hardtops have advantages like... haveing a sturdier/stronger subframe (which gets you better cornering and is stronger in wrecks.

Cutting the roof off our cars is different because they all had the t-bar from the factory. The engineers at GM already designed the car with the idea of the roof not being there. Lambo engineers designed their car and probably never though someone would cut a hole in the roof.

There are idiots everywhere. The amount of money you make or have isn't always a reflection on your intelligence. By that logic Paris Hilton could be a rocket scientist. Bam and his buddys were filming this stuff for a long time for fun before they realised anyone would pay them for it.

How is bashing on me on topic? I never said anything bad about you and you don't know me so why don't we just leave that alone.

Theres no way paris would have ever been a rocket scientist. Cause shes so spoiled and a blonde ;)
I agree, our cars were made for t-tops, I dont know about lambos though. They probably need all the roof support they can get.
Get back, you dont know me like that. woot woot

Most super sports cars are built on a much closer to a race chassis than anything, so odds are nothing strucually was really hurt by cutting the roof. I'm still not too up on the idea nor ever will be, but probably didn't hurt it too much that way.

My god, its a car. He paid for it, if he wants to spray paint the word c*** on it, so be it, not my car. I think it becomes more of a problem of society to drool over an inanimate object such as a car. I know many of the people in here arguing about this are kids, so it would be hard to understand. But I say this, its not yours, its his. He has worked and earned what money he has. He started out just like the rest of us, broke and in the working class, and Bam Margera managed to get smart and find someone who was willing to pay him to do what he does. If he wants to tear up a Ferrari or Lambo, thats what he will do, and I will sit back and watch.

That is kind of stupid. But these aren't normal people anyway. Most of these rich guys didn't work hard for their money. So they have no value at all at anything.
