  • No More Firebird

Well, after two short months the firebird is gone. I was driving to a car show and was stopped to make a left turn. I went to turn and this truck must have been flying because I didn't even see him. I am okay, really banged up, but no broken bones or anything like that. I have enjoyed this site, and all the info I have gotten from here, and someday I might get another firebird. Right now I have a 98 Jeep (girlfriends), and an 88 Monte Carlo SS which is now going to be my everyday driver. It has been fun.

Sorry to hear that man! :(

That sucks about your bird. It was a rare color too. Glad to hear you are alright though.

I'll probably keep an out of in the for sale section and see if I can come across a good deal. Right now we have the MC and the Jeep so I really don't need another car right at the moment. The car was actually a darker shade of purple. That is my girlfriends favorite color. I just sold my 81 Trans Am about a month ago, so this really comes at a loss for both of us. But, Health is always first. We can always buy the cars we want, when we want. I appreciate your words and look forward to more car fun down the road.

They ruled me at fault. I got a $180 ticket for Failure to Yield Right Of Way.
