A car is worth what the buyer is willing to pay. Apparently it was worth it to you.

yeah, it all depends on market, and how much you are willing to pay. i looked at a hardtop, nbm firebird, 2002 with 40k and they were asking 15,500 :p
i was going to get a 1999 mustang with 20k miles on it for 9,999 but i stumbled across my car at a dealership on the way back to the ford place, and bought it.
2002 camaro 19,000 miles, RS gfx, 3.42's, chrome wheels, exhaust, etc. for 12,500.
2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
2006 S60- Sold
2000 Cherokee- The desert whip
YES, in my opinion, but then agian, i dont see why anyone in their right mind would pay that much for a v6 camaro/firebird, i mean hell you can get a decent mileage ls1 for that much. granted the miles are good but its still a v6. hell, you could of bought a '99 nbm camaro w/t-tops, and power everything cept seats, chrome rims, 112k(i know, i know) but it still drives great, for way less than that.........fixin to sell mine, looking at ls1 and lt1 z's and t/a's
*side note: i paid $3500 for mine a couple years ago, with 70k miles, only reason i bought it, is because i couldnt pass up the deal, but now its time for a v8*
but to each his own.

lol yea i know, im just sayin from the point of view of the person who is worried they payed too much. For me, insurance would have been the killer and i also have a heavy foot so gas wouldnt of been great either, so i went with the v6.

I totally hear you on this one I got a 4 dr GAGT and it cost the same as a V6 bird in insurance so I am getting ready to get a bird. The insurance for an ls1 was so insane for me. Besides i got a 78 I am rebuilding and that is fun enough.

4 door grand am is the same as a firebird for insurance??? damn lol
IMO, for that money you could've fon LS1, but the car does look to be in good condition. Someone else made a good point, even though you paid alot, were there any others that were in such condition?
i think its obnoxious when people say "for that price you could have gotten an ls1"
they are 2 different cars, its not like one is better than the other. it all depends on what you want. i didnt get a v6 because i couldnt afford a v8. i got the 6 because for the money, i got a newer car, low mileage, and sexy. i dont care that much about being able to beat all the other cars on the road. my car is quick enough for what i need, i just mod it for fun.

if you dont want to hear "for that price you could have gotten an ls1" then you shouldnt have started a topic asking if you paid too much for a v6 firebird
