Im 17 and this is my first car. Im paying 270 a month for 5 years. Car ran me around $13,500.
It has 30,000 miles, 1 previous owner who didnt smoke and was a 30 year old lady who didnt beat it, power everything, leather seats. Red 2001 near mint condition 3.8L V6
did a quick check over a kbb.com and the retail value is right at $13000 so you could have got it a little cheaper. I wouldn't worry. I bought my 1999 camaro with 56k miles for 11,500 3 years ago. BTW that a great looking firebird with awsome mileage!
Check out my cardomain site!<br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/99pewterv6\" target=\"_blank\">My Car</a>

What would you say have been reasonable? Yeah the KBB is around 13k..i only paid around 500 more..i wanted to get a firebird with low mileage..the cheapest firebird in my area is 6 grand and has over 120,000 miles

You may have paid too much... But look at it this way, did you find any that were cheaper and in as good of condition as this one?
I know I found plenty of camaros that were cheaper than what i paid for mine, but mine was in mint condition so it was worth it. Everything else i looked at that was cheaper had one thing or another that needed work or things that I would just have to deal with. I paid about 10k for mine, and while some may say I paid too much, i believe it was worth it.

yeah thats definetly the case
i could of gotten a 95 white firebird with over 130,000 miles for 6 grand and the paint job had quite a few knicks in it and it was modded quite a bit and mostly teens owned it. OR i could of spent $13,500 and got a beautiful red 2001 firebird with 30,000 miles(1/4th of the mileage of the other car) power EVERYTHING, leather seats with only 1 previous owner who was a 30 year old lady who didnt smoke or anything. Clean *** carfax and near mint condition. I would of loved to get a trans am but the cheapest trans am was $18k.
i saw a 02 camaro for 12000 sticker with like 28k miles.... about a year ago.... and u could get them down to 10 easy... u paid wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. but hey look at the bright side, you still got a kick *** car :-)
Good cars aren't cheap! Looks like you bought a good one. I spent $15,500 4 years ago for my 98 bird. It was over-priced but it was the nicest firebird I could find. Don't worry too much about it; Its Only Money!
