Re: found a pic of my 82 camaro
I had an 82' also. Was my first car. Looked like this cept' it was black.

Traded it for a 94' 3.4. I missed that car and was sorry I traded it, but it wasn't a safe car. Lost control of it a few times and could've been killed. No limited slip.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

My '85
2.8L FTW!
Why I eventually got rid of it... $500 for the rolling chassis.

Re: found a pic of my 82 camaro
I had a piston shatter, something about running it a little too had and reved it a little to far.
Piston shattered then chunks of it went though the motor, I found pieces of it on top of every piston, gouged all the cylinder walles, and a few pieces got forced out of the side of the oil pan, by the crank.
ohh yeah and the one rod just slapped around the cylinder screwing up the walls. I would have kept the car if I wasn't moving away to college and I had already gotten a 3.4L :(-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
