    Great movie!

We saw it at the drive-in - absolutely the best venue to see this movie.

I recommend it. Stay through to the very end of all credits - Pixar throws in little extras all the way to the end.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

      Re: Cars

Glad you enjoyed the movie. Pixar Car’s looks awesome. I love computer animated movies but I feel like im destined to see this movie. I was planning on going yesterday when the movie came out but I had plans, I might go on Monday. Two people that help make the movie actually went to our school and I was invited to watch their presentation which included a few never before seen clips. One of them actually graduated from my high school which is pretty cool, he helped design Mater. The other one Bob Pauley I believed helped design Lightning McQueen. My fav character is probably The King, a '70s-era Plymouth Superbird :) .
They said it took them over 6 years to produce this movie, which is outrageous.

It is pretty sweet, watching it for the 2nd time tomorrow morning then going with a car club on wed night to watch it again.

Pixar is getting pretty sick with the graphics, this movie is amazing.

              Re: Cars

Just got back from seeing Cars not to long ago. Movie was great, better than i expected. All the characters were awesome and it had a nice storyline. Definitely two  up. This movie has some insane animation, just like any other Pixar movie. I was entertained every sec. of the movie. Haha and the Ricer's got owned in the end of the movie . Great movie..

I also snuck into the Nacho Libre movie.. at first i didnt wanna watch because of how stupid the previews made it seem. But OMG, i was crying of laughter within 5 mins. Definitely a hilarious flick.

I saw like 10 mins of the Fast in the Furious tokyo drift, it was alright i guess. I probably wouldnt pay to go watch it tho.

              ;)

                Re: Cars

i had to drag my gf in the movies to see cars and then she didn't want to leave. I loved it... pixar kicks ***. It wasn't boring, it wasn't something kids couldn't watch, and it had plenty of comedy. i think its byfar the best movie this year so far.

I love in the begining after the race when he has to do an sponsor appearance for the rusty cars. The lights go dim and shine on him. And you hear in the background someone yell "sing freebird!"

I about pissed myself when I heard that.

I just wish white letter tires were available in our sizes. This all-black look is so boring.

Im almost positive it had a corvette paint scheme..

GT/GT40's dont have white wall tires.

                              Neither do Nascars :P

Anyway, its funny that everglades should mention the white lettered tires, cuz earlier i was actually talking to Gilbert about the possibilities of painting my letters (some sort of hard core latex paint would be needed), and i think it would look pretty good.

Also they do actually make a tire that has white lettering that will fit our cars: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s come in 235/55/16 and have that retro look... but they're all season crap so i wouldn't buy them.
