I'm thinkin' Asian!

I have had my share of problems with my Camaro. Altough it is sexy, sporty, and fun, I believe I want to look into possibilities of other brands of cars. What is the best sub 15 sec. Asian car(or easily modded to sub 14) that can be found under 8k? I was thinking Eclipse GS-T or something along that nature. What's your input?

If you are looking to get a car with less issues not many people will tell you to get a DSM.

Exactly. You can easily get a 1990-1994(1st gen DSM) turbo Eclipse, or Talon for under 8k. BUT...They are extremely finicky, and prone to breakdowns. For a turbo charged 4 cylinder they are real quick, but you pay for it with the maintanence costs(timing belts, head gaskets, etc...).

I'd stick with honda, or toyota(maybe an old school supra?).

just been in the shop a lot more than I think it should. Spend about 2k ontop of the car itself, and it's starting to misfire again. Not to mention it is getting older with more miles.

A little out of my price range. For that price jump, might as well rebuild my engine I have now and throw a cam in. ;)... THat sounds good and all, but I dont have those funds yet! :)

Look around for on older model Toyota Supra Turbo. Don't and haven't had one, but I like them, and imagine they could run 15's. If you don't mind coming to FL, I know where you could get one for around $800 I think it was.
