I'm not an animal person, but fell in love this weekend and made a big purchase. He's an Italian Greyhound. Avg. size is 15" tall and 10lbs. His name is George.
wow he's little. when i first got my dog ( german shepard and collie mix ) she was that weight, but shorter. he has really cool eye's, my dog has boring brown eyes. do you have any of pets? ,i have 3 kittens, and they gang up on the dog, and the dog's full grown.

thanks. now getting him crate trained is the problem. we have this thing called "tropical storm alberto" pounding florida with rain, making it VERY difficult to get him outside to do his stuff. plus, he's never gone outside before, b/c he's a store bought puppy.... my first "real" pet.... p.i.t.a., but worth it.

haha pat u gotta post the pic of u and the cat when u were a little fella and the cat was bigger :-p haha... i used to have a dog :( had to give him away cuz my mom had a baby though

Awesome. I love dogs. I want a huskie, but I live in an apartment so owning a big dog is out until I move into a house with some yard.
Huskies need a lot of room to run. My samoyed at 13 yrs old is still wired all the time. Just got to watch the husky fur. I've burned up so many vacuums over the years. My wife bought me one of those Roomba Robots. Dog fur killed it.
The best part about dogs is no matter how crappy your day is, they always want to wrestle and play. It's a great way to blow off steam.
