  • I really do miss driving the bird every day

It was sooooo much fun as a daily driver.

I could live with no a/c.... most of the time.

The no power steering was alright also.

Even skinnies and no front sway bar were fine....

I drove it to work today. T tops off, windows down, cruising on the highway at 65 mph and I think I smiled all the way to work - 25 minute drive.

I never plan on adding weight - creature comforts back to the bird..... but it sure would be nice! Maybe one day I'll pick up another f body for a daily driver.

Off to a car show tonight.... poor birdie is sooooo damn dirty

I've contemplated...... MANY TIMES.... looking for a 1997 Silver firebird formula LT1 A4.

Everyone knows me for the v6. And... for me to buy a v8 as a daily driver would be priceless! And..... damn mods would probably happen.... sigh!

      I don't think I can own a car w/o modifying it!

            Mom's 98 c5 was a targo top

After having it for a bit she wanted a drop top

Two years later she traded the 98 in for a 00 C5 drop top

She used to also have a blazer back then.

Now.... because she no longer wanted to have two cars - one power and one 4wd.... she picked up a 03 WRX 5 speed. It blasts through the vermont snow.... she has a house up there

Re: I really do miss driving the bird every day

Is it difficult to drive for 25 minutes with skinnies and no sway bar?
