    Z28 Or Crotch Rocket???

    ok ive been thinkin about this for awhile and cant make up my mind
    i love my car and all, got nothin but compliments since ive had it
    but ive been thinking.....(first off-at the moment my car is the only
    vehicle me and my g/f have for transportation, we also have 2 kids)
    i cant decide if i want to save up a lil bit of cash and sell it and
    get a ls1 z28, or keep it, save up a lil pocket change and buy a
    crotch rocket???? i want both damnit, but in reality, only 1 is
    possible.....scenarios:if i sold my car and bought a z, that still
    leaves us w/only 1 vehicle.............but if i kept my car and
    got me a crotch rocket i would drive that to work and anywhere
    else and leave her my camaro..........THOUGHTS/SUGGESTIONS????

      well if you get the bike you still run into the 1 car issue. what happens when it rains or is just too damn cold outside. either way i think you need to invest in another car. if you can swing it finance a z28 and she can get your car. either way from the situation it sounds like you need another car. with a girlfriend and two kids unfortunately you need to prioritize and the bike should be in the back of your mind.

        Maybe instead of another Maro (hard I know....) You should look at getting something more practical for a family. That way you can keep the Camaro, and have another car.

        Just my 2 pennies. :)

          forget about the bike and get something thats good for the kids

          Maybe a 4 dr gtp or a Regal, safe cars and fun too.

          or just save a little more and keep the maro and buy the z also

              I've never owned a crotch rocket b4, but I plan to.
              I think you would get tired of driving the crotch rocket all the time
              in heavy traffic. Its a high risk in heavy traffic which is not fun at all unless youre retarded
              with a suicidal death wish and think you're too good to die.

                  I was sort of in the same scenario back in January, keep my car stock or buy a bike. In your situation I would try to buy a 2nd car for her if at all possible.

                      dude i have a 4door car perfect for ya. its a 2000 malibu with no problems what so ever. perfect shape and has about 110k miles. I bought the car about 3 years ago but i just drove it an hour to school and back. SO really i put about 40k on it in 3 years on the interstate. I'm selling it for 4500 but i can maybe do 4k. surely you can afford that and then get a crotch rocket!

                        Put it this way. In your situation, it sounds like you will need two cars...

                        If your g/f had her own transportation, and this was just up to you, then absolutley no question about it... Crotch rocket...

                          Get a good reliable "Point A to Point B" car. I just bought a nice Pontiac sedan for less than $1000. Good on gas cheap on insurance.

                          I guess you could buy 2 crotch rockets. One for you, one for your girl put a kid on the back of each of them. But seriously, I would buy the Z28 if I had the choice
