gunna flip **** soon!! So yeah for thoughs of you who may have read i had a serious problem with my car and the wires ...nothign wanted to work and then my dash was powering out smoke... i took my gauges and **** out the other day to find a melted spot on the gauges back cover and a **** loadof burnt wires ...it sucks i got some wire im gunna fix them to the best of my abbility hopefully that wont happen again...but does anyone have any idea on why this happened?
this kidna **** just bothers me i cant seem to fix one thing without mroe thigns going wrong AGGGR!!

all the bulbs are brand new and i checked the wires for the lights..everythign seems to be fine... i can be wrogn though ill take a pic of the wires next time i go down...any other sugestions?

This guy beat me to the point. Definitley check that... If you're frying wires before fuses are popping, then either the fuse is WAY too big, or you're shorting right past the fuse box which is going to a b*tch to find.

Exactly! It seems like a fuse wasn't doing it's job.
I got another one for you. Make sure you aren't using some cheap generic dollar store fuses. They don't pop at the proper amperage. I used one because my foglights shorted, and its all I had at the time. Later that night it smoked the SOB because the metal refused to pop. Use good fuses...
i checked the fuses some were outa place so i replaced them (with good brand ones not cheap) relays were good... ummm the fuse didnt pop when the smoke came out eaither so i dunno ...
