Re: Passed out yesterday at the gym!

you know bro, most people here don't think its nothing to worry about and they could be right. but they could be wrong too, there prolly right but why not go get checked at least for your own piece of mind. i know going to the doc sucks but it sure beats disabling yourself or worse! When i was in navy bootcamp we had what we called the "freedom run" you had to run a mile and a half in 12:45 to graduate well two guys were having real problems making it, we all pushed these guys to make it, both passed out. one guy died and the other lost his sight?? just remember if somthing dosen't feel right it probally isn't

Re: Passed out yesterday at the gym!

Went to the doctor earlier today, and he said it was because I got dehydrated. I only had a diet coke, and didn’t drink any water or Gatorade. I always bring two bottle’s of Gatorade to the gym when I workout, but we were going there to let my friend get a membership, and I decided to do some bench press.
I’m completely cutting soda out of my diet, and I’m never eating at McDonalds again. LOL

I always eat a full well balanced meal 1-2 hours before I go to the gym, and I ALWAYS drink tons of Gatorade. But this time I was unprepared.

BTW, the doctor said I look huge! He said it was a dramatic increase since the last time I was there! :)

Re: Passed out yesterday at the gym!

          Here's a workout for ya:

Monday: chest, delts, tri's, stomach (bench, shoulder presses (front, side, rear), tricep pushdowns (use some free weights behind your head and various machines) and stomach crunches

Wed: Legs, stomach (press for your butt, extensions for your quads, curls for your hamstrings, and calf presses for calves) and stomach crunches

Friday: Back and Bi's, stomach (pulldowns, rows, hyperexensions) and bicep curls and stomach crunches

Do cardio afterwards if your looking to bulk up since you won't have much strength left. If your looking to lose some pounds, do cardio first for about 15-20 mins.

*If you squeeze an extra day in during the week, just go easy on cardio and stretching.

Basically, this is my workout for the past 10 years. It was setup by a trainer. Only thing now, is, I've lightened up A LOT on using weights and incorporate more cardio.

Make sure your form is perfect when lifting otherwise there could be serious injury. :)

If you stick to the same muscle groups each day, you won't have blood rushing from your upper body to your lower body causing you to pass out. And as Thor said, eat the RIGHT foods and drink a lot of water during the day and during workouts.
