just my luck :(

so i come home from work yesterday. there is a message on the machine from the guy i was going to buy the camaro from. he said he had bad news and to call him. so i do. he tells me that he was on his way home from work, hit a deep spot of water(it rain like crazy last night) on the road and the ram air intake(that sits under the car) sucked up a bunch of water and hydrolocked the motor. :mad: :rant: so its toast.

so now my search continues... i go look at the 01 ss that i posted before. 11k miles, $11999. who ever said it was a previously wrecked car was right. it got hit in the side and had most of the front end replaced. so im not buying that either because, even though its all been replaced, the new paint job on it sucks. lots of bubbles in the paint and the hood is not lined up on it at all and a few other things.

so yeah. yesterday sucked. its like god doesnt want me to have a camaro.

hopefully today, im going to look at a 99 t/a and maybe a few other t/as.

As bad as this sounds, wait like a month or so more when the buyout deadline for delphi has ended. Lots of those guys are gonna have to think about selling their toys to save up enough money to last them until they find another decent job. I know my stepdads buddy sold his red 99 ss and is considering selling his black 00 ss. My step dad is even considering letting the ram air go : ( Good luck on your search.

Well i was right on the wrecked part :)

Maybe its a sign stick with us LT1 guys :) LS1 cars are so expensive right now, everyone deffentailly wants the cash out of them.
