Anybody seen Superman yet?

Yup wore my Superman shirt today to see the flick. I got a lot of thumbs up.

But Superman didn't really live up to my expectation. It had an awesome special FX but the story wasn't there.

It's like it took over where the 1978 Superman part 1 left off without part 2, 3, or 4.

Louise Lane shacking up with former X-men Cyclops and she made a baby with Superman before he disappeared for 5 years, like where's is that going? Story is just weaksauce. But it's good to see Superman in the big screen again. I was almost a baby when Christopher Reeves came out and I remember it.

They should have done it like Batman's Return. Start from the beginning.

Spiderman preview looks awesome. I'm looking forward to that.

ive never been a superman fan. so i doubt ill watch it at all. i figured it would have a shoddy story line and it looks like i was right.

I pretty much agree with your perspective Thor, hollywood just kills every superhero movie in existence. :tdown: for superman IMO. as well as X men I,II,III, batman, hulk, dare devil, etc. Superman 3 comes out next year. Im probably going to watch it even though hollywood killed that too. In the comics, spiderman didnt shoot web through his fist but through a device he invented. But IMO, the spiderman movies are better than the rest of the superhero movies.

I watched it and I like it...the storyline wasnt the best i've seen but it was still all and all a pretty good movie..cant wait til spiderman 3 comes out..
