[Pro-Mo]

Hey everyone, just registered here. I have a '98 Camaro that I'm currently doing bodywork and paint too. The car has 40,000 original miles. While Im really a V8 lover I get intrigued (sp.) seeing all these V6's here!!
Here are some photos of my progress so far. Someone had sabotaged the fuel tank I believe because its full of some really nasty shi&. So Im currently at a crawl waiting to find a replacement tank as dealer prices are way out of hand.
Let me know what you guys think of the color. Its called Tangerine Candy.

more pics! i love that color. so what exactly is wrong, or was wrong with the body? if theres a junk yard around you go get a fuel tank, the dealer's probally chargeing you way to much. i dont remember what year exactly but they went to plastic gas tanks on the ls1 i think. lighter's better, id try and look around if you think the dealer's chargeing too much.do you know what was in the tank? wouldnt it get into the fuel lines too? good luck and keep us updated.

The car was owned by a 16 year old girl who kept getting in minor wrecks. So her dad took it from her and left it at my shop. He paid it off while it was there and was going to fix it after. But he decided to just give it to the shop owner in exchange for storage (over a year). We think the girl put something in the tank while it was at shop because it was broken into while there too. The car was never started because whatever was in tank destroyed the pump. So there shouldnt be anything in the fuel lines, im going to blow them out anyway.
And yes, they did switch to a plastic tank and thats what im hoping to get.
Ive added a set of springs and shocks (2" lowering) and I have an adjustable bar that will be going on. When I can find a tank.



I have the rear bumper cover and doors done now too and will get pics up soon.
