    Omigosh, they've announced that Transformers will be coming out of the big screen next year.

    I love Transformers. I collect this thing when I was a kid. I mentioned to my wife the other day that with all the Superhero movies, and sci-fi, I think a movie on the Transformers would be coming soon. And 'walla' here it is.

    I'm not sure if this is one of the model that they'll be using.

    I used to love the transformers when I was a kid. Autobots v Decipticons! Was Optimus Prime the leader of the Autobots (a tractor trailor) or Deciptocons (the handgun)?

                im not a big transformer person so i dunno but i herd that bumble bee was a old first gen camaro and in the movie he is remade into the concept. http://leftlanenews.com/2006/05/31/n...formers-movie/

                  Yea, they mean in the movie: He starts the movie as an old camaro, then he upgrades to a new one. Anyway thats dumb. They could have done the same thing with the VW bug, cuz theres an old one and a new one of those. Oh, and Optimus Prime is a firetruck?! WTF!? Since when?! Have to start wondering if these people are on crack... or have ever even seen the cartoon. :rant:

                  Another minor flaw i spotted in that article was the picture of the police mustang... it had decepticon markings on it. None of the Decepticons were cars... only the autobots... hence the name AUTObots. :mad:

                  I understand sometimes sacrifices have to be made when turning a book, comic, or cartoon into a live action movie but these are unexcusable.

                        First of all i want to say im sorry.. sorry for being off topic and jacking your thread but. when i was a kid i was in to captain planet. i know completely random and ninja turtles.

                        never in my life have i seen Transformers. Ive heard of them and read the movie articles with the new camaro and mustang. Im probably going to watch this movie just because of those two cars. even if it looks/sounds chessy.

                            There was a link posted on this a while back. It was to some kind of transformers forum or something with all the pic's of the movie prop cars. In that thread they were arguing like you are, and turns out Optimus Prime was a Firetruck or something for the second generation of... something. lol. Either way, they aren't too crazy.

                            Wait a second. The pictures I have clearly show Optimus Prime as a tractor trailer...
