    State Champion

    I just wanted to share my joy. I played offensive left guard for my highschool team. I am proud to say i am the only white starter on the team. our kicker and long snapper is white but dont count. I got one year left.

    We went 15-0 and played i think 3 2a teams we are 1a the smallest. We played the state game a in Columbia, SC at University of South carolinas Stadium. It was the best feeling. o btw we are the Blackville-Hilda Hawks

    well congratulations on all your hard work! i can only dream of what it woulda been like to play for a team that was halfway good/serious about the game. my game was/is/always will be hockey but same deal tho. congratulations. Good luck with college too... you might be lookin at a scholarship!
    one question tho... dont u usually play football in fall? or did it take this long to finally play states. might be different in SC tho.

      no it was in december just never got around to posting it.thanks. i have always wanted to try hockey but we dont play it much down here. down here all we do is play football.

        Pretty sweet, only one school in the state wins that ya know ;).

        My school was state champs for hockey a few years back. My cousin scored the winning goal in the championship game. I taught him all he knew :D.

                Cool I was on a state champion ship team as well...

                I was a Offensive Tackle but I sucked I didn't start :)

                But mine was eons ago, the first picture gives you an idea of how dated it is LOL, It was '99 and I graduated in '00

                  You get a ring for winning? I didn't play high-school football, but I'm sure they didn't give out rings. That's pretty cool.

                    Yep. Kingwood Basketball won state last year and they were given kickass rings. Altough I believe they had to pay for it... I can't remember, I just remember the rings being very awesome.

                      Actually we are the only town in the state in many many years if not ever to have 2 state champions in football. a private school about 2 miles down the road in the town limits won to. so thats cool. but they had to pay for thier rings and we didnt. BTW i have played for 3 years now on varsity and my reacord total is 41-2. the last 3 years we have lost in lower state. And i belive we have the longest reguler season winning streak at like 35 games in a row.

                        mine was like $400... I did not get a class ring just the state championship riing.


                        has 13 diamond flecks for the 13 wins that season, and 3 blue sapphires to signify 3 state championships for the decade(90's)
