  • grrrrrrr....

so my week is off to a great start. today i wake up a 6:45. get dressed by 6:50. walking out the door thinking to myself man im going to have a good day at 6:52. as im saying this my dumb*** neighbor from down stairs( the one that had the dog that wouldnt shut the hell up for those who remember my thread) is pulling out in her pos hyundai tiburon. she pulls out, starts moving forward. i think to myself, this dumb *** is going to hit my ****ing car. as soon as i say it she does. so me being me, i flew off the handle and went nuts for a good 30 minutes on her about being a ****ing idiot. her boyfriend was petrified of me by this point and wouldnt even try to defend her (which for him was pretty smart because at that point i would have put him down like a rabid dog.)

shes looking at my bumper saying "opps":insert her batting her eyelashes her: i didnt have enough room to turn." now seeing how i saw the whole damn thing i flipped out and was like "WTF!!!????? how do you miss the jeep that is sitting next to me and sits out about 2 feet more than my car? and yet you manage to hit mine you (you can fill in a lot of insults and whatnot right here becuase i cant remember at that point i snapped when she thought she would just get off easy because shes a decent looking chick.)

so shes like well ill pay for it to be fixed then. I 'd and looked at her and said "what? you think you have a choice you moron?!!? YOU ****ing HIT MY PARKED CAR!!!"

she hit it in the rear right on the corner of the bumper, so the paint is screwed on it. she also hit it just right to knock the bumper out of alignment with where its supposed to be.

so yeah my day has been real "nice" nothing like watching some idiot hit your car as you walk up to it.

Ouch man. Don't let her pay with her own money. I've heard that before. Be sure to get her insurance and file a police report right away.

I guess the curse hasn't disappeared.

well see heres my deal with that. for an 11 year old car, the paint was in damn near MINT condition. until today the only problem with the paint was one little nick in the hood. other than that the paint was perfect.

I would have done a police report. Having a police report is a sure fire way to keep the insurance company from screwing you.

You tell boss that you're late because your car got hit. And call ahead to let someone know that you'll be late.

its the worst when you're watching it, no its about to happen, and it still does. Same thing happened to me, my roommate backed into my car. I was sitting in my car waiting for him to leave so I could, watching him in my rear view and thought to myself 'this *** is going to....' yup. But then the same is true when you know something good is about to happen. Its even better. Like this one time at a bar, this girl and I were talking. And well, I wont go into detail, but the end is: I was happy the rest of the night.

Sorry about your car, 11 year old paint being close to mint is pretty impressive. It'll be back in no time though.

reminds me of a story....I was down partying by my school at a friends house one night, all of a sudden one of the girls we are with says "hey I think your alarm is going off." I run and look out the window, sure enough and there are a few kids out there, some running away. Two of my friends took off out the front door, but didnt see anybody or get anyone. I come down and walk up on the side of my car and I see a chair ( from like a school ) sitting right next to my car, i think o **** !!!!!!!! sure enough someone took the chair and threw it at my car. Now keep in mind, I live at home, I really dont know anyone from school except my own friends, so it was just some random person, who nailed it with a chair. I proceeded to kick the chair as hard as I could and break two of my toes....ouch....The dent is a pretty decent size and still has yet to be fixed, speed first, then repairs.

Great timing though... had you not actually been there she would probably have driven off thinking nothing of it. Then you may not have known who hit your car. So yeah, it is a pain to have to witness something like that, but at least you saw it so you are one step ahead in that respect. What a stupid *****.

funny thing is at first she didnt see me walking to my car. as soon as she hit it i went nuts. she started to back up and jump out and wipe her paint off my car real quick when i got up to my car. so she had all intentions of leaving quickly had i not been there. funny thing is even if she would have, her car is silver and there are only 2 silver cars in my lot. the other belonging to a older guy in his late 50's who is more anal about his car than i am. so even if i wouldnt have been there i would have known. i always look at the car before i get into it anyways. and i know for a fact that the older guy would have came up and told me if he would have hit my car with his since thats what respectable/responsible adults do.
