    I ate at a great restaurant: McDonalds!?!?!?!

    I am not kidding.

    They have the regular McDonalds menu plus all this other stuff made to order at reasonable prices. My kids got the usual burgers. After a few minutes, my chicken quesadillas arrived at our table (on a real plate with a stainless steel fork). It was outstanding. I could not believe I was eating at McDonalds.

    If McD's can keep this going and keep the prices reasonable, they will be unbeatable.
    I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

    The last time I was in Orlando my fiance and I ate at a McDonalds like that and it was dam good.

          Not here in Nebraska, I know that much. The only one I have every seen was in Florida.

            Going off what's on their website, it's just a franchisee in Orlando doing it on his own, not a McDonald's corporate thing.

              I think there's one in NYC too? I have no idea if its the same, just a few years back I had a roomate who was from NYC and he was telling me about a McDonalds they had that is all fancy. They actually serve you like a 5 star restaurant with people playing a Grand Piano and everything. I'd def hit that up on I-Drive next time im in Orlando just for sh*ts and giggles.

              Edit - PewterBird answered my question I guess. It can't be the same but sounds similar.

                The McDonalds franchisee down here in the Boca Raton area does not have the great menu, but some of their stores here are interesting. The McDonalds near my house has a Nascar McDonalds racecar in it. Another one has a hotrod in it. There is a spy-themed McDonalds further east in Boca Raton with CIA and FBI stuff in it.

                Now if they'd only do the bistro menu like those in Orlando...
